No doubt. I think you have to in order to keep tOSU's defense off balanced. Miles said earlier in the season that he feels that playing both guys gives LSU the best chance to win. Well, RP played in a big spot last night and more than held his own in my opinion. It's time to pull out all the wrinkles. Like Dan Foutes said in "Waterboy", "Last game of the year Brent....."
In spite of Fla's record, I don't think Ohio St. would beat them head to head. I'm still not impressed with who Ohio St. has beaten, the best of which is probably an average Michigan team. Just like we were "that close" from not being where we are, Florida was "that close" to being 1 loss team. I think Florida is a bigger, faster, and much more physical team than tOSU is. I'd take them in that matchup 7/10 times.
I would not have wanted to see LSU in a playoff this year. We need all the time we can get to rest up. A well rested injury free Tiger team is very dangerous. I like our chances.:milesmic:
Well, I for one, do not think OSU is on equal terms with Florida. I think Fla is a great team. Tebow is outstanding. We were fortunate to win but I believe we were more well rounded than them. And I think OSU better worry.
I agree that tOSU is not near the same caliber that Fla is. That was a hard fought game that we had to dig real deep to win. They are young and going to be very dangerous these next few years. IN fact the SEC all around is going to be even tougher these next couple of years. OSU and USC should be real good too. If we can get completely or nearly healthy. I can't see us not physically dominating this team and punishing them. :crystal::crystal::crystal::helmet:
