I don't see that happening at all. There really doesn't seem to be much argument as to whether or not Ohio St should be there. The argument is who should play them. It's a different system than '03. Still nowhere close to perfect, though. But there won't be a split title this year.

Not a split in the polls, but again, a lack of respect from the media and fans...

Again, doubtful. Especially since most in the media are pushing for LSU to be in the game.

It wouldn't bother me at all. SCOREBOARD baby. As long as they get a :crystal: history will show that LSU was the 2007 NC. It's an accomplishment that no one would be able to take away from them.

IMO, if LSU gets in (highly likely now), Flynn whether he needs surgery or not, will try to postpone it until after the game and just get healed up enough to play. Unless it is worse than I think. I doubt he would have even tryed to suit up last night if it wasn't something they felt they could put off. He doesn't have to be able to do it all, we will use RP also to lighten his load. It could also be a role reversal, where we use Matt to run similar to how we used RP during the first 5 games, and let RP play the passers role.

I have no problem with this. I think it would be a shame if Flynn didn't get to play in this game.

The rest of the team should be healed up by then, except maybe KW. Haven't heard the full extent on his knee.

We will be favored in this game even though we are number two. They will give us the home field advantage points when making the spread.

I don't know. Beckwith collapsed as soon as he hit the ground and it looked like a knee, probably the same surgically repaired one. I am also afraid Doucet aggravated his old injury. I sure hope not, but these injuries could linger longer than a month. Who knows what is really wrong with Dorsey. I am afraid many of these guys need surgery and are just gutting it out and will never be 100% for the next game. Hopefully we can find out next week from people on campus.

Finally, we get over a month to rest up. I can't wait to see our team fresh, strong and ready to play hard and fast! :thumb: :miles: :crystal: :helmet:

According to WAFB, Matt Flynn says he will be "healthy in a week, certainly in a month..".. FWIW, of course.

I'd like to see both QB's get significant play time in that game. :crystal:

To me, Florida is the best team we've played so far. Both of us were healthy. We were at home, and it took an awesome effort for our Tigers to get the job done that night.

I think tOSU is probably better than Florida and it's going to be a great game.
I don't see a blowout happening. Lot's of defense and field positioning.

We might even get to use some of our trickeration...lol!!!

This game could come down to a 4th down play in the red zone....maybe not. Maybe we are the superior all the way around.

I hope the media doesn't give us any respect over the next month. Maybe, Dorsey, Hester and gang will be out to prove something come game day.
