Several people have mentioned how the team; particularly the defense, has looked tired the last few games; even coming off the bye week. I'm wondering if there's anything to this. Do teams still practice in full pads this time of year? If so, would it help or hurt if they only did walkthroughs in shorts and maybe helmets? I'm not sure, but it seems that shorts/helmets would give their bodies time to recover before the next game. Another school of thought is that full contact in full pads reduces turnovers, so who knows. Thoughts?
too many semi colons and not enough paragraph breaks. :thumb: but i hope they go easy on the full contact drills this week. we were definitely sluggish in the fourth quarter this week. i hope it's not a repeat of 05 when we go to the seccg so tired we can't even put up a fight.
All you need to do is be able to read on a first grade level and you'll do fine. Actually, I was trying where to decide to put the break, but on second thought, didn't think it required one. I guess I was wrong.
i'm a stickler for paragraphs. they increase reading and make it easier to pick and chose what you're going to read. so basically, they make it easier to be lazy.
I thought more people would have an opinion about this. I even fixed my paragraphs. :hihi: I guess it's just a crappy topic.
No, it's definitely a good topic. The only change I'm aware of is the practice week is moved up a day. As for the comment about the 2005 SEC CG, remember that LSU had played 11 games in a row. This team shouldn't be as gassed, especially since they're playing a day earlier this week than Tenn or UGA.
Good point. They will have an extra day to recover. Just have to make it by Arky now. One game at a time
