Was just reading the ESPN article about Les's Alabama post-game speech to his players and that he called the Tigers a "team of destination." Was that another of Les's "fu pas", did he mean "destiny" or was this classic Les speak and he did indeed mean to say "destination?" Someone could do a Ph.D. dissertation on his bon mots.
Either way it's funny as he11. I can't believe I didn't pick up on that. Is CLM's way of speaking making me dumb?
On the topic of funny quotes: " Not necessarily. LSU’s victory drew an 11.9 rating. That’s the second-highest regular-season number since CBS started keeping records in 1987, trailing only the 1989 Miami-Notre Dame game. A lot of that was because the game got more media attention last week than Herman Cain’s libido. But by the time Alabama kicker Cade Foster missed his, what, 14th field-goal attempt, people were wondering what all the hype was about." I thought he was saying a "team with (of) destination" - meaning they know where they want to go. OMG - am I really starting to understand Les-speak?
Well, maybe 'destination,' as in NOLA? Is CLM combining 'destiny' with 'destin-ation?' "It is our destiny to arrive at our destination--BCSNCG" Does he work these out beforehand? Time to rack!
He was saying that the big game is in nola and that's where we are headed. We win it all on Nola years! Les is unbeatable in the dome. We make it to Nola and this defense will be up on attemped manslaughter charges for what they do to whomever we play. It will be said that there was criminal intent to do bodily harm to the qb of that team. Big Sam may actually be convicted.
yes, you are now what's known as a "ball boy", a nickname for those who understand what the hell Lesticles is saying.
:lol: I think you are probably right. I used to think his genius was incomprehensible, but maybe it just takes 7 years of immersion.
