Don't just shoot your mouth off chump, give me names? C'mon let's have it. Please tell the world, this should be fun
You really are as lacking in reading comprehension skills as you are civility, aren't you? Refer back to the 72nd post of this thread I said Trent Reznor lived in New Orleans not far from where I grew up for over a decade and he wrote his most influential songs on his most critically acclaimed and socially impactful albums while in New Orleans. He wrote the songs at the Fly a place I have frequented my entire life. He grew up in Ohio and escaped the creatively stifling place as he viewed it to move to NOLA to stoke his creative fires. Phil Anselmo of Pantera is from Louisiana and he started the House of Shock horror house. I know it quite well, thanks. If you think that the environment you are in while producing art isn't perhaps the most important influence on any creative mind's production of art of any form then I would say to you that you are likely one who has never created any art ever. Just because someone was not born in Louisiana does not mean this place does not immeasurably impact their work. Ani DiFranco has become synonymous with New Orleans despite her not having grown up here, but she toured here regularly before finally moving and settling in New Orleans after the storm. In fact, being from New Orleans I can promise you many New Orleanians are not born there, but rather come to the city and become intrinsically interwoven into the canvas of the place even if their birth certificate will never indicate it as so. They are as much a New Orleanian as anyone else. Perhaps it foolhardy of me to expect you to have a less infantile perspective on culture and the impact it has upon artistry as you are with your narrow-minded sports takes, but alas you continue to excel at disappointing. Carry on championing that, bud, it certainly seems to be your singular talent.
I've never known @shane0911 to hold back from saying what he feels, therefore I would not think he would post under another name. I've had some disagreements with a couple of people here and it's all worked out in the end. It's a message board where we state our opinions on the University we support, I see no reason why a legitimate poster would have to post under a different name.
