As a self-proclaimed member of the sunshine pumpers, I regretfully have to admit the negatigers are starting to win me over to the dark side. I can take losing to AU and MSU under the guise of youth and inexperience. But after we gift wrapped #4 in a row to saint nick, I'm pretty fed up with our god-awful passing game. I was all for AJ throughout the season, as he appeared to be our better choice. At this point, I'd rather see Welter at QB. I'm sure he knows the plays and couldn't possibly be any worse. Hard to pump sunshine with no resemblance of a passing game.
Red, I'm really trying not to whine. I went to LSU 89-92 so I know all about bad football and what we have now is certainly NOT bad football. Better performance leads to higher expectations. It's hard to be satisfied with a passing game so putrid when the rest of the team is so good.
No one is satisfied including Les and the quarterbacks. But what do you want to do? Bench Jennings for a guy that is even younger with less experience? How well did that work out? What we have is what we have and we're doing pretty well under the circumstances.
