Great article -- my favorite part is below. I think this is why this team is so incredible.

When players get ready to walk out for practice or games, they are not allowed to cross the end zone end line onto the field until everyone is behind the line and Miles himself says the magic words -- "take the field."

Once they cross that line, players have to leave behind all of their problems -- girlfriends, family, school, whatever.

"If he sees someone with a toe across the line before he says 'take the field', he'll call that person out in front of the team," Graff said. "We take the field as a team and only as a team."

There's no Miles formula for handling trouble, simply common sense.

A form of genius, actually. To take all of the varied talents and personalities, to not let any one player 'showboat', to have the team really buy into the concept of team, is a great accomplishment.

And it shows, as when we lose a QB or a DB or anyone else, another teammate steps up and the machine never falters. The mission--defeating the next opponent--never falters.

It only slows for a few months after that glass football is brought to Baton Rouge.

    Alabama on Nov. 5?

CLM & LSU just takin' care of business!

Next up: Western Kentucky! ----HEY, just sayin! This proves my point about CLM's single team approach to the schedule. You haven't heard CLM say diddly squat about the approaching showdown with Western Kentucky yet, did y'all?

    A form of genius, actually.
