So, what is a Forum? A place to discuss what is happening & voice ones opinion & read others thoughts. Hopefully doing this without fear of being called unloyal. Yes, at times I question what the LSU coaches are doing. I questioned the playcalling in the Kentucky game, Not changing quarterbacks in the Arkansas game & the forth down running plays against Florida. But I am a LSU fan & I celebrate when we win & feel sad when we lose... Are you Different??

Callender, you're welcome to post your opinions.

The last thing I want to see happen is this forum turn into LSU Cumbaya Central....that would be no fun....as optimistic as I am, I still have my questions about the goings on of LSU athletics. I'm not insecure, I am realistic.

We will get 99% of the Louisiana players we want year in & year out. This year we will get 100%. Don't worry about those guys, the coaches know that we're in great position with them regardless of whether they are committed or not.

We basically recruit knowing that the spots we have for Louisiana guys will be filled. It's the out of state guys that will have to commit or lose their spot.

No coaching staff is above making mistakes, and all are fair game for their actions being questioned. I'm all for questioning the coaches, so long as we can be reasonable & discuss it rationally, which doesn't appear to be an issue with Callender.

Alright, TC. You're certainly entitled to your opinion. Sorry if I made it sound otherwise. It's just that the end of your post that I quoted sounds like an indictment more that merely questioning of the coaches. You're probably just a passionate fan that doesn't want anything but the best for your team...and there's nothing wrong with that.

I just feel like the staff...especially Les Miles...deserves a little leeway. You say you were questioning the calls in certain games...and I'd be lying if I told you I didn't do the same. But so far, with recruiting...I don't believe anybody has anything to complain about with this staff. And it wasn't long ago that you were panicking about the fact that we only had a couple of 5 stars...and weren't leading the country in recruiting. Give 'em a break...they know what they're doing, bro!:thumb:

The other thing to consider is the fact that some commits will be "silent" due to the requests of either the coaching staff (so as to not scare off other players at that same position) or by the player themselves (to help recruit other players from their school).

Thanks guys.... I know its early yet - I just want em all thats all... In my crazy way of looking at things I want the national champions :LSU231: who have only 14-18 openings to get 10 five stars & the rest four stars. Guess I'm greedy huh??
