Lemmings is the most favorable to us, in regards to Top100 evaluations.

Lemming has Glen "Big Baby" Davis at #39. This is one reason that shows ignorance. Maybe he is doing his list regardless if they play CFB or not. Who's to say. If he doesnt know Glen is playing BBall at LSU, he is definetely out of the loop though

He does know about Dorsey and in one column he wrote a while back he said that he believes that the lure of playing for Saban just may be too much for Davis once he gets to LSU.

Also, the differences in these 3 "recruiting services" show just how wrong they can be. Some of the rankings of these players are off the chart. Jerald Watkins, our recruit, is one of the ones with a great disparity in his ranking as is Dorsey. This sure isn't an exact science. And another thing about Lemming, he made his name first but I don't think he has built up half as good of a network as the other services and relies mostly on the opinion of others when ranking players that don't play in his neck of the woods. Especailly the medium and lower ranked players. my 2 cents.

    Can't Do

Glen Davis cannot decide to also play football for Saban at LSU after he gets here on a basketball scholarship (assuming he stays on bb schollie). Tom Lemming has to know that as a recruiting "expert", would like to see the quote where he said something like that.

All I saw was that he still has him as a top OT prospect.

Lemming updated his top classes today

Tom Lemming's Revised Top 10 Classes for 2004
    Team Comment
    1. LSU Recent commitments of WR Early Doucet and LB Luke Sanders solidifies the Tigers at No. 1.
    2. Oklahoma Dynamic duo of RB Adrian Peterson and QB Rhett Bomar has the Sooners right on LSU's heels.
    3. USC The Trojans recently added DE Jeff Schweiger, one of the nation's top defenders, to their impressive class.
    4. Michigan Recent pledges of OG Brett Gallimore and DT Alan Branch will strengthen the Wolverines up front.
    5. Miami Addition of WR Lance Leggett helps a Hurricanes' class that is rounding into shape.
    6. Texas Horns loaded up with early commitments and are waiting for a couple more blue chippers.
    7. Ohio St. Buckeyes are in on a couple of out-of-state prospects that could move them up the list.
    8. Florida Gators are sitting pretty with several of the South's top uncommitted prospects.
    9. Florida St. Seminoles are also in a good position with top recruits, and they always finish strong.
    10. Alabama The Tide is a big surprise here, but they've landed just about every top player in Alabama.

Lemming usually puts more stock in guys who remain undecided until signing day.

It seems a little creepy that he makes inroads with all of these recruits, like an old guy with candy.

That's got to suck if you are an Auburn fan. I have a feeling they are begining to bettter appreciate our suffering during the Hallman/Dinardo years.
