Miles spoke highly of quarterback Danny Etling, saying he dominated workouts this summer, is one of the most athletic guys on the team, and can read route concepts and hit his check-downs, making it easier to get the ball to a number of guys. Asked if Etling should be afraid of being pulled if he makes a mistake, Miles answer was a definitive, “No.” Sooooooooooooooooo, why in the hell was B. Harris starting in the 1st place????????????
He's talking about summer work outs and athleticism not QB play. He'll never admit that Etling kicked Harris' ass in fall camp. However there is no way that he didn't do just that.
As unlikely as it is, there is a small chance that Harris is a practice warrior and looks great in practice. There are always those folks that can't handle the pressure when it counts. A lot of that is on the coaching though. And again, I said its unlikely.
Just make that your signature so you don't have to keep repeating yourself. Btw I agree with you. On second thought maybe it's just therapeutic for you to repeat it. God knows after seeing this offense for years we could all use a little therapy. If that's case, proceed sir.
