Welcome to the forum. Love your sarcasm. I don't think anyone in his right mind think LSU will win by that kind of a margin, but it's a nice thought. Don't be a stranger to this forum. We love to chat with opponent fans.

you don't get to the national championship for the 3rd time in 5 years for being just average though. We'll have our hands full

I have absolutely no reason at all to hate OSU. Your school has a awesome storied past. But, understand this, you guys have had had "6" NC's. We've had "2", and one of those to this day is still questioned by many. Plus, we had to wait one hell of a long time between those. We, as LSU fans have always loved and supported our team even through years of hardships and broken hearts. So excuse us if we get rabid about finally getting a shot at the ring again. Its been tough being a Tiger fan at times, and this opportunity for us is all the sweeter after the brutal season we've had to play this year. Do we think we have the better team, of course we do, we're Tiger fans. What else are we supposed to think. All I have to say about this whole thing is this. Let the Buckeyes play the schedule we've had this year and ask yourself honestly, where would they finish? No, I have nothing but respect for OSU and its history. But we've paid our dues, and we want our share of NC history. After everything thats happened this season, these kids, and our fans expect and deserve it.

The bandwagon effect, also known as social proof and closely related to opportunism, is the observation that people often do (or believe) things because many other people do (or believe) the same. The effect is often pejoratively referred to as herding instinct, particularly as applied to adolescents. Without examining the merits of the particular thing, people tend to “follow the crowd”. The bandwagon effect is the reason for the bandwagon fallacy's success.

In Psychology, the bandwagon effect refers to well-documented behavioral patterns among people and has potentially infinite applications. The general rule is that conduct or beliefs spread among people, as fads clearly do, with "the probability of any individual adopting it increasing with the proportion who have already done so." [1] Thus, as more people come to believe in something, we can expect others to hop on the bandwagon, regardless of whether the underlying evidence is conclusive or not.

FYI...That should clear things up a bit
