From an OSU fan to LSU

It hurts like a mother, I know. But you still have another game to play. We may have a chance to be in the NC but as the country knows, it will be by default. You still have the passion to know that LSU is still the best team in the country. While I know that OSU is still a year a way from being a true dominant team, please gives us your support. We don't want to have a west vagina or Kansa in the NC. While i know that you must hate OSU and so does most the country. LSU and OSU are alot alike. Dominant teams every year and thats why the world hates both of us.

I feel for you on senior night. We just went through this and know what you are feeling. This is not a sarcastic post. I am content with going to the Rose bowl b/c that is where we belong. But i don't want to see those others in the NC.

Good luck in the SEC championship game. I was pulling for you yesterday.

I for one don't hate OSU. The team that wins the most games and proves that they have come through the crucible SHOULD be the national champion. That is true whether their fan base acts like children after the team wins it (usually that IS the case), or not.

Much negative fan reaction, and yes, from the SEC fans, is that we think it is not about "the record" the team has posted, the national champ should BE THE BEST TEAM. We think in many cases, a one or two loss SEC team is as good or better than an undefeated or one loss team from any other conference. That is because every year, you will have to play at least 4 or as many as 7 teams ranked in the top 25.

I would prefer an 8 team BCS playoff. Eliminate the conference championship games and use that game for the first round of the BCS championship. Take a month off and play the bowls as usual, and two bowls will be part of the BCS championship. The winners would play one week later, for the undisputed national championship. Then we all hail the national champs, earned on the field, not sometimes played by teams from the large media centers.

This stings some, but in the end, we didn't earn it. It is what it is, and I accept it. We've had a very good season, with lots of heart stopping finishes, and its been a lot of fun. Long live college football!

You guys had a great season and ran into a hot team at the end, like we did with Arky. It happens. With McFadden and Jones, you wonder how Arky lost 4 games?

I hold no hatred for OSU either. In fact if things line up to get you guys back into the game is pretty much puts us there as well. Who cares if we both back into it?

Living in the heart of buckeye country, Columbus, I know how bad that loss for tOSU felt and now I am feeling it as well. But you know what? If WV drops one, KY beats Tenn and LSU beats UGA in the SECCG and OU beats the winner of tonights Kansas, Mussa game for the BIG 12 than it will be tOSU vs LSU in the NCG. I know that is a tall order.

 

Wouldn't that just piss everyone off. I would love to see it.

 

A lot more has to happen for LSU to back its way into the NCG. tOSU just needs OU to win the Big 12 and your in playing WV if they win out. LSU needs Tenn to lose today and LSU needs to beat a high ranked UGA team and WV to loss and OU to beat the MUSSA ,Kansan winner in the BIG 12 Game. Man my head hurts.
