Okay. NFL Hall of Famers. I'll play.

    Oregon has 6.
    Penn State has 5.
    Texas has 4.
    LSU has 3.
    Oklahoma has 3.
    Nebraska has 3.
Georgia, Florida, and Florida State each have 2..

Ask any college football fan to rank these teams in terms of historical significance and I'd wager Oregon ends up last on the list despite being 'first' in NFL Hall of Famers..

You actually just undercut your university and its purported prestige. If you have had so many more Hall of Fame players/coaches/personnel affiliated with your school compared to these others how come you haven't done more historically?

Phil Knight's bank account isn't even being included in the discussion, either..

That was a really poor point to try and build your argument on regarding historical relevance.

    Besides, let's play another game.

State of Louisiana Hall of Famers: 12

    Centenary 1
    Grambling 4
    LSU 3
    Louisiana Tech 2
    NorthWestern Louisiana 1
    Southern 1

State of Oregon Hall of Famers: 6

    Oregon 6

    What does that mean?

A whole lot of nothing much really just as your initial point was rather silly, except the quality of football players that play in this state appears to be quality across the board.

If I missed an Oregon-based University then by all means correct me.

Other than those other schools not meaning anything in this conversation, it means nothing.

I counted 10 SEC teams in the all-time top 50. Very impressive (Yeah, I'm lookin at you Vandy )

And btw, I'm pretty sure the OP didn't bring up the NFL HOF to brag but to just inform and it ended up being true. No need to downgrade every aspect of the Oregon football program...Richduck already said the program has a history of sucking.

What is even more impressive is that 5 SECW teams are in the top 26!

the only thing I i am sure about in this thread is that the music video was flaming. Wow. No offense intended toward the Ducks. I'm sure there are some lame LSU vids but that was uber gay. Not bad production quality just gay.
