Sam Gibson team fell to the #11 team in the country out of NJ 35-24

Not sure about the exact stats for Gibson but something like 160 passing yards with 1 TD and 110 rushing yards with 2 TDs. One of the TDs was a 55 yard rushing TD and the other for 25 yards). 2 INTs and 2 Fumbles.

Prattville was down 23-0 with 6 minutes left in the 1st half. Came back to take the lead, lost the lead, and had a chance with 3 minutes left to win the game but didn't happen.

I got a chance to switch back and forth from the Gibson game and the Patterson/St. James game.

Hilliard is the offense for that team and 80% of the plays were Hilliard run left, right, and up the middle. Has has so much power and his running style and frame remind me of Brandon Jacobs. Keeps his shoulders upfield 90% of the time and doesn't lose much speed fighting to the outside thanks to his great footwork. He kind of shuffles quickly while getting the edge with great balance.

Not extremely fast but more than fast enough to compliment his power and this game was played on a wet field.

    Stiff arm is brutal.

Fumbled 3 times one was on the QB exchange which was on the QB more than Hilliard. The team had 6 turnovers and still won.

St. James missed a field goal closer than a PAT with a minute left and Patterson won 22-20.

    256 yards and 3 TDs

Watched some of the game, and just like you said.....he is their offense. Without him its hard be lelieve they would beable to move the ball. He is even their punter......The one put that i saw, he blasted it. He just seems like a natural athelete that can do it all.

He looks huge! As he was going through the line he was as big as the linemen and bigger than all of the linebackers.

I saw that he got thrown to twice and missed both throws........he MUST work on those hands!!!

Patterson would have a good offense without Hilliard...but he is the difference between them being a good team, and a state championship contender.

I don't know about that after watching the game. The QB did not look very good and threw 2 passes directly to the other team but the QB does have some moves.

Granted it was only the 1st time I have seen them play this year.
