Well I looked over the stats and I'm not near as appalled as I was before. I didn't realize his numbers were as good as they are. Still, Crabtree leads in receptions, receptions/game, yards, yards/game, and touchdowns. Bradford leads in pass efficiency which I think is the most important stat but I still think Crabtree should have edged. Like I said, not as bad as I initially thought.
Crabtree has been absolutely ridiculous. However, the difficulty of the position also comes into play, which is where Bradford gets the edge. I agree with isl about the title game angle as well. I think he is (or was recently) leading the country in passing efficiency. Stat line: 216 att 308 comp 2879 yds 70.1 % 34 td 7 int
bradford had a 180.5 qb rating, about 15 pts higher than brennan. 34 tds and only 7 picks. its similar to dorsey winning all these awards even though he was injured the last 3rd of the season. coaches realize their worth to their team despite the stats and acknowledge it here. bradford is more important to his team than crabtree imo.
