i just got back from the qtr and my best guess was early today it was about 60-40 bucks. around 3:00 it was 50-50 and i'd say when we left (around 9:30) it was 60-40 LSU. me and the wife went down there today. most of my crew is coming in tomorrow. remember, osu fans got hit with 4 night minimums at hotels. LSU fans are coming, trust me. with that said, these buckeyes traveled much better than illinois, ND, or oklahoma hands down. all the interaction was good spirited and it seems everyone from both sides are having a good time. but buckeyes claiming to out party us??? y'all need an event and a destination to do this, we do this every week in our own back yard. c'mon now.
That is true! My family is going to mass and then heading down to the quarter. I will have on my paw and have it "read " by some hippie in Jackson square, then I am going into St. Louis Catherdral and light a candle for Jay B, who really needs our prayers now! The sad but true part is...later we'll pile back in to the family truckster and head back to BR! I may not be going to the ship, but I sure as heck will party at the dock!:hihi: (Then come home and watch it on my couch )
We'll see how it goes today when all the Buckeyes have hangovers from last night and we pop up bright and early and continue our normal daily routine like it was nothing.
T minus 7 hours 'till Hurricane Sensation makes landfall in New Orleans. Strong gusts of Hurricane Sensataion's presence are already being felt throughout the city. Stay tuned.........
Haha, do you know where Buckeye fans are from? Ohio! Life there is a constant hangover, they're used to it. They should be game. Seriously though, you guys should have alot of fun with OSU fans, we're a good bunch. My guess is, we might not be as rambunctious as LSU fans, but we do like to party, and we do love our football.
Was talking to a LSU fan yesterday when we were watching the Pitt/Jac game on Bourbon Street last night, he told us to expect a lot of LSU fans to show up Monday but conceded that there was a considerable larger amount of Buckeyes on Bourbon last night than there were Tigers.
What makes you think that we will wait until sun down on Sunday? We are heading down at Noon today. Will take in some views in the Quarter, and then head to Ernst Cafe for Bucktown Allstars around 6pm. We do gotta save up some energy reserve for Monday morning. We'll be drinking some screws and mimosas during an 8am breakfast at the Bourbon House. Those OSU fans won't know what hit 'em... :tigereye: :geaux: We'll raise one for :milesmic: :tigereye:
Snow and cabin fever does that to you... Seriously, we went to a wedding on Put-In-Bay. Talk about an awesome time. I'm not saying its equal to the Quarter, but it was a damn fine time. Gotta admit that cruising around on the golf carts was pretty cool. Some awesome bars there, too.
