How so? Leading a team back in a national title game, a team that was down by two scores, and ... you know the story. The spotlight on Tua started in conflict. Did you know that he's been blitzed over 35% of the snaps he's taken this season? And that's not facing conflict?
Yea but he came in the game to clean up someone else's mess. That is always playing with house money. Its not the same kind of pressure as Hurts would of had. Conflict in this regard is him making mistakes and dealing with that. It hasn't happened yet.
I think LSU can play with anyone and is much better than their stats show. Orgeron has opened up the offense more than Miles did in years, but still played it safe against UGA and MOOU because he could. I think our offense will prove sufficiently multi-dimensional. We’ve got a ton of raw talent in the passing game, a patchwork OL who has struggled but done enough, and a RB in Brosette who doesn’t take too many losses and reads blocks at a high level. He’s backed up by CEH who is raw but talented - he could be a factor later in the game or if he catches a crease in the Bama D. QB is raw but manages game at high level and doesn’t make a ton of mistakes. It seems like he’s faced some excellent defenses so I don’t think Bama will shock him with their talent. I’m more worried about our D, especially with our main run-stuffing LB. Tua’s passing ability makes y’all dangerously balanced. Our DBs aren’t perfect, but they’re pretty high level, and Aranda should put em in the best position to succeed. It seems like cheating against the run is our best bet, but Tua... Should be a bitch. I think we’re going to surprise y’all.
Hate to say it but I think Tua shreds us. Kid is battle tested and I don’t see a way to beat him. Blitz and he will hit Jeudy on a deep go. Don’t blitz and he will sit in the pocket til someone is open and pick up a first down with his legs when needed. Maybe a spy would work, but I don’t see who’s good enough at tackling but fast enough to fit that bill.
Oh boy " But it was the right call if you understand the rule, which Edwards and many of his fellow Louisiana citizens and LSU fans apparently do not." Fuck this guy. "The NCAA rule on targeting says, "No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting. When in question, it is a foul." That last sentence is key in White's case. "When in question, it is a foul." In other words, if it's close — call it. The NCAA wants these penalties called. It is a liability issue in addition to a safety issue." So Devin white gets ejected and this guy just gets a flag.... Surely you see the hypocrisy in this??? Let me be real fucking clear bro. The call and the RULE is fucking trash. OK? That clear? We god damn coming. Oh and:
quoting guilbeau? c'mon tf, shake the rust off you're better than this after a 2nd look, buried in the article is this gem, "Now, Alabama may get reputation calls here and there, but so have other dynasties like the Golden State Warriors, the New England Patriots, the New York Yankees and the Boston Celtics. That's human nature"
