I agree, if you are going to have running backs play qb, run a spread option offense. I would hate to see that crap at LSU but we have the qb's to run it. We probably wouldn't be able to recruit big time receivers, although Trey Quinn and Dupree have dropped more balls than I think any pair of receivers at LSU I can remember, so really what does it matter. Just recruit big guys that can block on the edge.
i love clm and most of what he brings to the table. however, i'm 100% with you in reference to his offensive philosophy. my nephew suggests an amendment to his contract to where he gets to keep the sideline headphones, only the sound be turned off. i could be in agreement with that, too. lol.
I'd give the true freshmen a pass ,they both will be beasts. Jennings don't make it any easier to be a reciever also,they are probably so shocked when the ball actually does hit them in the hands they don't know how to react. There's no way in hell jennings can be any better in practices
