I didn't catch the entire story but heard something on ESPN about the top NFL teams (those with a bye) can't sign a free agent next year unless they lose one. They said it had something to do with the uncapped year.

The Saints finally have a team that can compete for a Superbowl and I hope the $$$ (greedy owners and players) don't screw it up!

If anybody has additional details please post them. Thanks!

    Thanks!

Man...I hope they don't screw us up when we're finally near the top. This may be the best time ever for the Saints to attract free agents to New Orleans.

I also hope the uncapped year doesn't allow a Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder to buy a Superbowl.

The Steinbrenner family thinks that's jacked up.

there is also a possibility of a lock-out by the owners over the CBA.

Another issueis that players that would be unrestricted free agents next season will now be restricted free agents without a new CBA. That's a big incentive for those players who are about to cash a fat free agent check to support getting a new CBA in place.
