Who was the LB?? That's an excellent example of my stance (and from what I can tell, CParso's as well) in that it's OK to give them a 2nd chance at LSU to "right their wrongs"...but if they don't, you kick 'em to the curb faster than they can say "tiger bait!", and the program doesn't have to suffer in the eyes of the fans because you gave these guys another chance. Basically, you limit them from becoming a headline. They come aboard, sure, it'll be front page news at that time, but if they screw up, then, it's "bu-bye"....middle-of-the-night-pack-your-bags style...and you don't have to even make a big media statement...because that's all these guys want--media attention.
Nope...you don't offer them one until they complete a full year under strict "zero-tolerance" guidelines....and if they don't agree to that, then they must not want to be a Tiger...

For the same reason we're talking about them period....there's a "lull" between now and Spring practice...
