One of the craziest endings I have ever seen.

Way too many penalties. Arizona still doesn't know how to win just yet.

They were very fortunate to be playing an inferior opponent that gave them the game.

Anybody watching, why the hell didn't the QB spike the ball on 3rd down, take your time and set up for a pass play to fool the defense?

they should have been ready for a play no matter what the ref called.
And not a running play to the Penn St. QB either.

That was bizarre to say the least.

From the 2 1/2 you don't do a fullback dive play or whatever the hell that was suppose to be. Just plain bizarre, as you say.

All the penalties in this game wore me the hell out.

It was actually a really poorly played game by both teams.

His knee hit while he was still basically straight up and down, then he fell forward, so the spot was about right.
But an absolutely dumb play call at the end.

They should have scored on Hills catch, should have scored on Gore's run, then blow it with a run up the middle with a back-up RB?

Singletary tried to catch them off guard. If it works, you call him a genius. Since it didn't, the play makes no sense. I for one, am excited to see a coach make a call that took some guts no matter how it ended.

It was Martz' call actually (that's what Singletary said in the PC). Which is surprising since he is an OC who loves to pass the ball.

I edited my post just before you made yours, which quoted my old post. I watched the replay and the spot was about right.

Yeah the backup RB taking the handoff on the biggest play of the season possibly. Huh?

    Can you say bootleg?

    no chit.
bootleg with a run/pass option to Vernon Davis.
Or just run another sweep with Gore.

Or throw it out of the back of the endzone, same result as a former college QB trying to go through the D-Line.

hope they keep him on permanent just to hear his weekly pressers.

    Dude said (paraphrasing)

"I can't be happy for showing intensity. We're supposed to do that. If we don't, I might as well just go home."
