Of course it's anecdotal, and I didn't use him as expert testimony, but it still serves as evidence that the testing system is flawed. In an industrial setting, I am as close to an expert as you are gonna get. I have been managing COVID in an industrial setting at a directors level for well over 2000 employees since it was just the wuhan flu. Testing is a key component and I could cite over 100 viable examples where testing is flawed. I think there is some intentional fudging, but not necessarily for political reasons, but rather financial. That federal tit is about to burst with all the funding intended to offset the burden from what this bullshit has caused. Positive cases help push that financial flow. Everyone has a bottom line, yunno

I'm sorry but you don't seem to understand, my friend, that Ben McDonald's opinion about whether the Covid-19 numbers are skewed upward means nothing at all. So Ben's got some friends who believe this to be the case....that doesn't equate to the numbers being definitively skewed. Further, did you see the links that I posted for Shane? If anything these numbers have been under reported and most experts agree with this assessment. I also posted a link showing where this conspiracy theory started. You should read it for yourself. I like how you pre-qualified yourself as an expert before citing even more anecdotal information. Even among a sample of those 2000 employees, you still do not have enough data to make the conclusion that our numbers are being over reported. I agree that some of our early testing was flawed. We had never had to test for this illness so I supposed that is to be expected. That said, we are pretty far removed from that and our testing has improved dramatically. So you think that all of these doctors, nurses, medical professionals, scientists, disease experts have a financial agenda? You act as though this is all being driven by politicians who are trying to get people on the government tit when in reality it is a pandemic that has killed over 135,000 people and it is ludicrous to believe that all of these people are somehow in cahoots to make this happen. That is a conspiracy theory.
You need to stop over characterizing people's statements. That's kaka's job and there is no room for another. Never once did I claim, based on what Ben McDonald said, that there was a grand-scale effort to skew the numbers. All I was doing was supporting his (Ben's) statement as it was directed towards the results of his friends leading towards my point that the testing system is flawed. I am not the one trying to qualify a national or global theory, but merely pointing out that the testing system is flawed, which it very much is. I prequalified myself as close as you are gonna get to an expert in an industrial setting involving at this point, well over 30,000 test results only to have 16-20% of them return incorrectly, and still do at the same ridiculous rate. How you take what I said and graduate it onto a global setting is a problem you need to deal with because I never said that and maintain that the testing system is flawed whether you think it is or not. What I said was not anecdotal, but fact based on personal/ professional experience. Another fact, when a test result initially returns as a false positive and re-testing turns out negative, they don't uncount the false positive. That bullshit stays in the count. Though it is my opinion, yes, I absolutely believe that. Our entire health care system is a sham and I don't trust it a bit when it comes to decisions based on bottom lines. Is it every health care professional? Not hardly, but enough for me to have a blanket opinion which, I really DGAF if that makes me a kook or not. I'll stand by that opinion till I'm dust.
