Wisconsin does us no fucking favors. I already dislike the badgers but I really hate the nuts. Why couldn't you bastards help us out. First the cowbells blow it against the Mormans and now you guys screw it up.
I'm good with that. It often does come down to the help of others. I just rather control our own destiny.
Suffice to say, we have under-estimated the Badgers, and I was definitely pulling for them to beat OSU. It needed to happen on that last drive they had, though. OT was never going to be that great for them. The team we need to be more worried about, of course, is AU. They haven't lost yet again, either. They will have to lose twice. That should happen, but they are the team that will mess us up if they don't. That is to say if we take care of business.
We aren't relying on them. If they win it helps us so that's why you pull for teams you played. If you can. I usually can't.
Watched the end of regulation in that game. Whiskey had a good drive going and were about 10 yards from their kicker's range and got a procedure penalty which put them behind the chains. Drive ended when OSU intercepted a pass. Without that penalty I think they would have had a good chance at a FG to win the game.
I'll take help anywhere I can get it. I also agree do your job and take care of business and everything falls into place. That being said saying we don't need help is a little disingenuous with the way the 2003 champ happened. Again we take care of our stuff and it will work itself out. Also I hate the nuts ever so much less then I hate the gumps and the war chickens.
