Franks was a big time QB with a big time arm. He probably made the right move going to UF. Not worth coming here to throw the ball 15 times a game all year.
I think it tells you all you need to know about the state of affairs at LSU. You think it would be easier to beat out Will Grier or Brandon Harris?
How can you blame the kid? He obviously made a horrible decision that could impact the rest of his life. You really can't blame him for coming to his senses and doing what's best for him.
Not sure I can get on board with that. They're kids and easily influenced. A visit here and a visit there. Easy for me to see how they could be excited with an early visit, not knowing what could be better- then finding it.
I don't think all De-Commits can be lumped into one thing. Given what's happened here in the last month; the almost certainty that his position coach is gone; and that its still in the middle of the process as opposed to the last week before signing day - I can't call this a no integrity de-commit.
I never blame a kid for decommitting if he's upfront and decisive about it. I wish Franks well except for one game each October.
I hope he is a bust. But then again I hope all players that are on other SEC teams are so its not just him.
I wish every young kid well that makes a choice to go else where.I just want LSU to make them realize they made the wrong decision by smashing that team.
