How is LSU's pharmacy program know that is what he plans on going in and is susposedly a major factor in his decision
Not sure, but he should consider Miami if that's the case, they have the best on-the-street pharmacy program in the nation.
Unless something has changed in the last year or two, LSU has not had a pharmacy program for a long, long, time - at least 40 years. NLU and Xavier are the two remaining pharmacy schools in LA that I am aware of. If he is thinking that far ahead, he sounds like a smart kid who is appropriately more concerned about his future. He may seriously consider a school like Duke or Stanford more than others think.
LSU has a pre-pharmacy program and word is that Telfort and his family are "satisfied" with the academics at LSU. LSU/Florida battle once again, and LSU appears to be in the lead right now. With JJones appearing to lean towards LSU as well, this could be a banner year for LSU regarding the LB position, finally. You add Minter and Mingo (if he projects to OLB) along with Baker from last year, you have the makings of a very strong unit at LSU in the next 4+ years.
Let's hope this all works out. Given our top tier status in recent years, it is surprising we have not fared better at LB - this year is hopefully the year. These LBs may realize what an opportunity they have to upgrade the position and that may factor into their decisions. Islstl, how long have you been posting here - >18K posts?
Down to USCw and Florida. USCw has 38 quality LBs on their team and Florida is gonna get Bostic and possibly JJones. Supposedly they aren't gonna take 3 more LBs, only 2. Perplexing how he can get it down to these 2 teams. Sad. We need to announce Chavis now so we can save JJones and Telfort instead of having to "settle" for less.
Phuck him... if he's happy riding the wood, and handing out water to the other starting LBs... let him rot. He'll come to realise the error of his ways, and then it'll be too late... he'll end up transferring to another school his junior year so he can play.
