Fans, I now know how/why we miss out on good quality recruits. I sent this to Frank 2 months ago and got "ZERO" response.

Frank this is Coach Lewis from Georgia, I am a representative of The Gwinnett Football League in Georgia. I just wanted to put a kid on your radar. Dillion Singelton. He is the best athlete in Georgia currently. His dad and I went to La Tech together. I know he is on your radar(hopefully). Also another rising Jr Isaiah Pryor(already has 8 offers) is another kid that loves LSU.

Thanks and good luck in the bowl game.

Wilson is widely acclaimed as one of the best recruiters in the country. Can you imagine how many unsolicited emails he must get? Hundreds . . . every day. In the middle of a football season, at the height of recruiting do I want him to take the time to answer each and every one of those emails? No. I want him to coach football and get out there recruiting.

I do think it is important for knowledgable people like you to make suggestions and I suspect coaches keep a database on prospects that they hear about. They also have to be very careful about NCAA compliances issues involving boosters, too. If you want someone important to know about a prospect, someone with a staff to make sure you get some sort of a response . . . try emailing assistant AD Sam Nader. Nobody knows more or cares more about LSU recruiting.

As Red said, it's not easy to get coaches to look at every kid. I called a coach one time and told him that a kid in BTR would avg 100+ ypg with them. After watching film, he agreed, by the time he had made it to BTR, Drew Dileo had given his verbal to Mich.

Years back I got a call from a staff as to checking on a local player from Brusly, after I did some checking, Chris Butler was offered and took the football scholarship.

Too many things go into an offer, it's not real cut and dry.

As for Sam, Reds right, he is more of a start along with Austin Thomas on the LSU staff

How old is Sam Nader now. I remember hearing his name a lot when Dale Brown was coaching, and I was attending LSU.

I have found people are more likely to read a hand written letter than they are an email.

He's been around LSU for 40 years as a coach, recruiting coordinator, and assistant AD. Got to be pushing 70. Looks pretty good for an old guy.

Now you know why we miss out on good quality recruits!? Geez, I'd be willing to bet that every recruit that LSU wanted they had great contact with. When they miss on a player it's because the players decided to go elsewhere for myriad reasons. Not because they don't follow up on an email from someone they don't know. Next tie do what the other said and email Coach Nader and send film. Then maybe you'll likely get a response and if the film is impressive enough Coach Wilson might even contact you.
