Corey Thompson is a high school teammate of Aggie commit Mike Matthews.
Thompson is one of the more physically imposing recruits in the class, standing 6'2" and weighing 202 lbs. He looks like an NFL safety right now.
Thompson is a ferocious hitter who has great range at safety. He is physically ready to play in the SEC right now. Thompson should team with Howard Matthews to give the Ags the tallest secondary they have had in quite some time.
Rivals ranks Thompson as the No. 18 safety in the country.
Thompson's father, Tony Thompson, played wide receiver for the Aggies.
