Per Rivals.... Francois will be getting a double-dose of LSU as Doug Mallory is on campus during the day and head coach Les Miles visits him at home. Francois could end the process very soon "Maybe Les can seal the deal tonight," East St. John head coach Larry Dauterive said. "Then we would be able to call people tomorrow and say it's a done deal." Francois is down to three schools, LSU, Florida State and Arkansas. HN visited with Francois yesterday afternoon and BB has already made his in-home visit. Dauterive is pushing for him to make a decision this weekend.
who in there right mind, would take Houston Nutt seriously?? He's so a puppet at Arkansas. His team is falling apart.
My guess is he takes the entire weekend to think it over and then the announcement comes Monday, probably at school.
LSU head football coach Les Miles was hoping to wrap up Rivals100 safety Stefoin Francois Thursday night when he made his in-home visit but after spending a considerable amount of time with the East St. John product, he left Reserve empty handed. "Les Miles called me at 10:15 and said I was there from 7:15 to 10:15 and we still didn't get a commitment," East St. John head coach Larry Dauterive said. Florida State is the school that has given Francois something to consider as the Seminole coaching staff has done everything they can to garner his signature. "Florida State is coming back in tomorrow (Saturday)," Dauterive said. "They are leaving a recruiting weekend to fly down here and make one last pitch for him." Francois who stands at 6-foot-2 and 210-pounds finished his senior season with 81 tackles, four sacks and blocked a punt. "He is just confused," Dauterive said. "He said he was 90-percent LSU until he took that trip and he said I like the things I saw and I was only there one day." Francois is being recruited by LSU running backs coach Larry Porter and he is rated as the nation's No. 63 overall prospect and the one of the top five safeties.
Damn, thats not sounding too good. Hopefully its just a small obstacle. I really though Francois was the surest thing we had. With the current problems at FSU, I dont see why anyone would want to play there. They havent had a great team in years. Hopefully he sees the light and commits soon to LSU.
