because i always hear about people that believe crazy stuff, but i didnt know any of them. everyone i know is sane. so i wondered how pervasive in your mind this tendency towards conspiracy theories is. i mean, i had never heard the freemasons thing from anyone that wasnt a stoned 16 year old.

You should thumb through some of the Papal documents from the last three hundred years or so. They can be very enlightening.

So we are talking post Nicaea then. What about the lost or "forgotten books" I figured a guy like you would be all over this stuff.

That's a good question. First of all, I have to ask....what do you mean...."a guy like you"?

But that is where I would defer to the Catholic Church. If they didn't include them in the recognized books of the Gospels then I assume they had their reasons.

Which books were you refering to?

I don't think that fantasies are the issue. I fail to see the difference between molesting a 9-year-old and molesting a 13-year old.

I submit that it is possible to believe in God without engaging in tribal rituals.

Is that part of Earth Day?

Seriously, if I were an atheist I would be attracted to the Freemasons. They have some realy good rhetoric, especially in the beginning stages about the fellowship of humanity, etc. I'm suprised you haven't looked into it more. It's not like you are catholic so there is nothing stopping you.

yeah, no real difference. and i also see if differently because with priests it is always homosexual.

i think priests are fellas who dont want to have sex with women, because they are gay, and they are riddled with catholic guilt, so they go into the priesthood hoping to suppress their gay urges, but they cant. they are really troubled self-hating sexual deviants. also, in general priests are bad people.
