Dupree was a head case, how is this Switzers fault?

All this Heisman hype 3 games in is starting to bother me. LSU needs to figure out how to be effective throwing the rock because starting next week, teams are basically going to gift LSU the pass. (Don't really care about this week) If Harris and company can figure out how to move through the air, with Fournette in the backfield, no one in the country could stop this team except themselves.

We will see when we get into the Ole miss Bama and Texas A&M just how good he really is he will have another 150 yard plus game today . The SEC teams will not let him have those kind of yards you know it and so do I. This chatter about him sitting out well maybe he should just go home and wait , he is fun and he is a very great player ,would love to see him get a short 10 yard pass in the middle of the field , I bet that would be fun to watch

The only head cases were Switzer and the preacher/agent trying to work the Southern Miss deal. Switzer used Selmon as a scapegoat,, Marcus was a small town, ignorant to the real-world man-kid who got burned publicly by his head coach and retreated. OU was a winner for sure in Switzer's days but if you were alive back then, you know they were a scam - I was in that neighborhood back then and the probations they got were a slap on the wrist for what went on. A real head case? Google Joe Don Looney,, never saw him play but my Dad said he was the meanest s.o.b. he ever saw carry a football,, turned out his last name was appropriate, though.

Switzer encouraged head cases. There was more blow snorted by OU players than there was in the 80's in Los Angeles.

Switzer is on record for buying Dupre's mom a trailer. He also ran the kid more than he should have. That doesn't explain why Marcus just shut down in the prime of his career.

Bottom line is I will never stand here and tell you that Switzer wasn't a shady sob. The landscape of cfb was very different back then, but I don't think he had anything to do with the demise of Marcus Dupree. That is just insane. Hell they are still friends and Marcus is still very involved in the OKC community.

Yeah definitely a different game and it wasn't like OU boosters were the only ones buying shit for families. Alabama was probably still is, Miami too.

Still doesn't justify or correlate to him ruining Marcus, trust me, if there was anyone that wanted him to succeed it was Barry

9 yard average last night so the average will increase to the 8.7 range
