1. Hell, I'm old enough to have seen Jim Brown run for Syracuse. I've seen 'em all. And if I take my P&G glasses off for a moment, I can say with some accuracy that LF has the "potential" to be if not the best, certainly in the conversation as the best RB of all time. And I haven't seen anything to suggest he's about to take his foot off the pedal.

  2. I agree. He needs two exceptional seasons to join that elite list. Barry Sanders only had one great year but he broke the single season record in less games than we play today.
  3. hard to say he's there with Herschel or Sanders or Bo Jackson yet

Time will tell, but by Gawd by the time he's done he'll be mentioned every time they are....

    ain't it great!

  4. each game can stand alone.
youd have a hard time finding a better performance than lf7 vs auburn. lf7 is great already.
youre a dumbass if you need 3 yrs to figure it out.
  5. It was interesting what Brock Huard was saying during the Syracuse game about managing him during the week instead of putting him on a pitch count in games.
  6. And I think that his bowl game yardage is not included in the record books.
  7. I don't believe it is. Amazing what he did that season, over 2,600 yards in 11 games I believe.
  8. Sanders backed up another great back his first two years in Thurmon Thomas. Imagine if Okie St didn't have a RB the caliber of Thomas how many yards Sanders would have gained as a starter for 3 years. Had four 300 yard games and 7 200 hundred yard games his junior year.

  10. SC came close to having 2 more Heisman winning tailbacks, Anthony Davis and Ricky Bell. Sam "Bam" Cunningham wasn't too shabby either
