EMU was moving downfield almost at will on our second team defense. Aren't those second teamers 4 and 5 stars too. There is not a single player on our roster who would have not had better options than EMU. EMU wouldn't have been able to successfully recruit any of them.

It all goes back to the lack of ability to adjust by Steele.

    Why not?
We have played the same way in each game we have had so far. Maybe they were not up for any of them, and we will come out and be the greatest team ever.

They played with fire in the first half vs Moo U. They opened the Auburn he fired up, probably a combination of revenge for last year and they thought Auburn might be good. When they play Florida and Bama they will play up to the competition instead of down to it

We scored 14 points on our first two possessions vs Eastern Michigan as well. Against Florida and Bama we will have to have a different game plan to move the ball against those defenses. I do believe Harris and the WR's have the talent to succeed. Hopefully they will let them loose!

If some of these other players that are half as good as Fournette tried as hard as Fournette, we'd probably have something.

Fournette only gained 79 yards against the Gumps last year. Dude is gonna be hungry. And I'll bet those arrogant ass Gators are gonna say something stupid in the press leading up to that game in 2 weeks.

Fournette owes a lot to his offensive line and fullback for sure. Of Fournette’s 864 rushing yards, 530 have come before he makes first contact with the defense. He is averaging 133 rushing yards before contact per game this season. His 864 rushing yards are the most through four games by an FBS player in this century.

“Without my line and my fullback, I’m nothing,” Fournette said. “I can’t block those 11 guys by myself and run the ball. They’re doing a tremendous job. I thank them every day.”
