Glad they kept Les. Class act. Kind of reminds me of the situation with Barners and Tuberville. When they were trying to get Petrino and Tubs didn't even know it. It motivated him and he went on to be fantastic for them after that for a few years. LSU will be fine and I think this situation motivates Les and you see something like it.
Will be interesting to see how the final ranking shakes out. From what I am hearing (and it makes sense) I think they will drop OU to 4 and put the big 10 champ at 3. This would put OU/Clempsin in the Orange and the gumps and sparty in Jerry's world. I hope this is wrong because I would love to see Mayfield drive nick to off himself on the sidelines.
Like @LaSalleAve I am sure you are. It is the same reason OU fans never wanted Mack Brown to leave Tx. This argument just won't cut it. Hey, I got an idea, when Nick leaves, why don't the gumps hire les? That'd be okay with you right?
I know everyone loves to hate Saban. I hope we play OU .As much smack as Stoops has talked about our conference. Would love to kick his ass. Hopefully if we are lucky enough to make it to the NC game I would like for it to be there. So we can snatch a NC from his grasps and wipe that smile off his face.
Would love to have Les as coach in a few years when Saban retires. He is a great coach he just isn't that great at developing QB's. With the right position coaches on staff that would be nice.
