Fournette is clearly more important to the success of LSU than Henry is to Bama. The stats are pretty even with LF7 playing 2 fewer games. Team success is Henry's lone clear advantage.
We need to be looking at mid majors to determine the most valuable player to his team. If y'all were Bama fans you'd be singing Henry's praises; you are not capable of separating your fandom and reason.
Henry failed to rush for 100 yds in four games this season. Bama won all four. LF7 failed to rush for 100 yds in 3 games and LSU got blown out in all 3. That's not homerism. Without Fournette, LSU has a losing record.
Y'all make good cases but unfortunately another Alabama tailback will win it because it's Alabama. If Fournette played for them the award would have been his easily and he wouldn't have had to tote the rock anywhere close to 46 times in 1 game.
I want to see someone one year not accept the award because it's a bullshit award. That would be awesome.
They could say they don't want it because of the jinx ,- OJ, Billy Cannon, Gino Torreta, Eric Crouch, Chris Weinke, Rashan Salaam
