Wasn't talking about you. I understand your points they are well thought. And I never said screw Fournette or I think he is garbage now or anything or a poor teammate, just that I am a little disappointed in him. But I will still root for him in the NFL and am grateful he chose to come to LSU and enjoyed watching him play.
If he plays in the exhibition game I'm assuming all of you "rah rah team first" guys will pony up if he blows out a knee, right? Ridiculous. Other than extra practices for next season the Citrus Bowl means absolutely nothing.
Lots of people think College football, and sports in general, means absolutely nothing,.. but it means a lot to me,.. enjoy the game.
Who is saying play? Just want him there to support his teammates. He gonna blow his knee out clapping?
Just wondering but didn't he get insurance out on his knees at the end of last year? Or was that internet bs?
No college game means shit to a player compared to 20 million bucks if you wanna go that route. So why even play your jr season by extension of that argument. If he's not healthy don't play. Makes sense. Though he was suddenly healthy enough to play vs UF when incited after otherwise too hurt to go. He also didn't have to sign with an agent before the bowl game. I don't have any issue with him sitting out. But his exit strategy wasn't a very good one.
I don't blame the man.... https://twitter.com/_fournette/status/811275409971146752/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw I don't question is decision at all.
