Yeah I have to agree, the media loves LSU but at the same time Les Miles isn't respected as a game day coach like Urban or Saban, or Dabo, or Jimbo. If Les was, LSU would easily be the number 1-3 team at the beginning of next year in the AP or coaches poll. If any of the guys I listed above were LSU's coach in 2016 with the recruiting class coming in and what's returning, LSU would easily be 1-3 in the preseason rankings.
nor should he. LSU shouldnt be anywhere near the top 5 til they prove otherwise. the fact the media and coaches keep buying into us is a testament to loving lsu and les miles despite being not so bright.
I swear, as an outsider, this season was like being in an episode of the Twilight Zone. I would come here and read the G/B/U threads and the others about the QB situation and Miles' suckage and then I would watch ESPiN or parts of a game and the talking heads would say nothing about the offense or Miles having issues or the problems I saw being discussed here. I'm born and raised in the land of fruits and nuts. I've been to Louisiana but it was years ago as an employee and tourist. I still plan on moving to Georgia at some point. I think he was hoping to troll a song girl. That ain't me. For a short time I did moderate an "other schools" type forum on an SEC board called SEC Blitz. Terry got me into that one.
Well I am with you on contempt for any thing that is Slive, well and frankly all things alabama. I always found it funny that the HQ of the SEC is in birmingham and the al teams seem to get a pass on a shit load of things. After living in gumpville for a while I can tell you if you think Louisiana is buddy buddy politic wise it's got nothing on the al. Then again most of these people are all from the same family some how some where.

So you're saying you read insight here that was accurate that the talking heads weren't talking about? I'm still upset I bought into the rubbish when LSU was at number 2, it was staring us all in the face and we had been saying it all year. Except it was worse, Bama didn't even have to load the box all of the time and they still smoked us. Les Miles is to a quarterback what a chocolate sundae and a small child is to the back seat of a car. Or he is to quarterbacks what my wife and a cigarette is to the seat of my car, that's a better one. He just ruins them. Unless they already have developed enough under someone else, aka Matt Flynn, Zach Mettenberger. Felipe Franks has no idea how lucky he is that he was able to choose Florida.
