No, it's the anti-Bama sentiment you carry that makes you view it that way. I defer to who is voting. You have two-thirds of the voters coming from players and coaches in the NFL. That's their peers opinions. Whether anyone likes it or not, those peers carry a hell of a lot more weight than me, you, or anyone else offering an opinion.
No. You suggested I look something up. That's hardly answering a question: hinting at one, yes. An analogy of the Fed and the NFL? That belongs in conversations as much as religious opinions in collegiate football. Understand, the only time I pay attention to the NFL is when an Alum does something I consider embarrassing to the conference or my school. Surely that's something you can identify with this morning.
Who is making a bigger impact on their team ingram or sproles? Or ingram or ivory? I'm saying yes I dislike you gumps however for the money ingram is a bust. IMO we could have traded him and got more for our money with ivory or sproles.
Agreed, 1 good season for a 1st round pick being in the league 5 years would constitute being a bust IMO
nothing like a quote like terryP's from a fan base that poisons a 100 year old tree after they loose. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house dude
A fan base that poisons trees. A fan base. I realize you hate where you live. I suspect it has a lot to do with the loose grip on reality you consistently display. Please, don't lose it ... entertainment at its finest.
A bit of a dig at furd, yes. But, it's furd. On a serious note, there's a lot of truth in what I said to him. I can empathize. Hell, as much as I appreciated the impact Marcel Dareus had when he was in Tuscaloosa his run with with the law was infuriating and embarrassing. He's not the first, and won't be the last. I've not watched the Giants this year; haven't watched a single NFL game. Hell, I'm not sure when I watched the last NFL game; been years. I have seen highlights via ESPN SC, Twitter, etc., and have seen some incredible plays by OJB this season. It makes the frustrations voiced here about "what could have been" very understandable.
What did I miss? Terry's been here long enough I think he should be able to voice his opinion honestly no matter how anti-LSU it is. Not that I'll like hearing it but I do find it interesting to know the perception of those outside the fan base. Same goes for Duck fan, vball, Iowa guy, and others in the same category. Even Loco from Lafayette. I realize I'm in a minority with that though. Some of you corn dog smelling sons a bitches are over the top, indeed.
Nice that is a pretty loose association that you seem to gleam from statements on a fan board. Do I like your fan base, nope in fact I severely dislike your fan base and your team. Does it slant my perspective, yep and I admit that. It doesn't change the fact that some one who was drafted so high has under performed for 4 out of the 5 years playing. Again the Saints could have gotten more out of several other players for less then what they had to pay ingram who has been a bust imo. Saying I have a "loose grip on realtiy" in this situation is like having a comeback some thing like "well your stupid". Just sad, I would have expected better from you terry. Also you brought up the embarrassment angle, I just reminded you that your fan base is kind of having a reputation for sexual abuse and destruction of property. Truth hurts You also might want to check and see this is an LSU board not a gump board. So yea there might be a slant.
