That does nothing to change the fact saying a Pro-Bowl back is mediocre is an outlandish statement (no matter which college a NFL player hails from...) He's no Adrian Peterson, but who can claim that comparison?
pro bowls mean nothing anymore. the first 3 legit picks cancel and they pick 3 more half the time. all pro is something else.
Since your a stat guy, why don't you figure out his career $/yd. I had hopes Ingram would be a great one. He is not and certainly not worth the moves made in hindsight minus contract year.
Off the field, he needed PP7 to get to that next level of maturity. Sadly also not available to the Saints.
I have no idea what he's getting paid, how many yards he averages, or much else besides who he's playing with right now. Long ago I soured on the NFL and it's product. And, in my opinion, it is only getting worse. If you happened to notice, I asked a simple question about how two guys who are pro-bowl selections are considered mediocre. It seems to me those that follow the league, and are in the league, would know value better than you or I, right?
I answered your question. As to your last statement of organizational responsibility being commensurate with expertise, I offer up the federal government.
