Raised $101,000 for SC flood victims. Shattered the old record for charitable game worn jersey auction. Suck it Bama.
You wouldn't know unless you Googled it. I read the ESPN article to find out. Never heard of the guy. I suspect I'm not alone. They asked Les about it at his press conference. He said LF got $100k for the jersey and he got $1k for the helmet he signed.
You never heard of the golden boy from Notre Dame? He won the Heisman the year or so before Billy Cannon and was a key in the backfield during the Packers golden years with Jimmy Taylor (you know of him right?)
"It became the highest price paid for a game-used college football jersey in an Internet auction, surpassing the price paid Friday by the winning bidder of a game-used Georgia jersey of Frank Sinkwich, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1942. That jersey sold for $31,070." http://espn.go.com/college-football...igers-rb-leonard-fournette-sells-101k-auction
