You can't seriously group Lee as shit with that group. Of the 4, he was the 1 we could throw out there and not lose a game all on his own which, was all we needed from him in 12. I think that season is critically different with JJ on the field. The proof was in NOLA.

IDK bro. 2008 says different. Look at his play vs. Bama in 2011 too. Not arguing your whole point necessarily but Lee was less than mediocre in my book.

Can't argue 08 other than he was a baby still learning flip cup. 08 was a team disaster and needed a QB better than good enough not to lose, not a freshman who shoulda been holding a clip board. 11 was different with team success only needing a QB who couldn't lose. He did real good at not losing and showing progress where others in that group did not. He might have been a funny smell, but certainly not shit.

It's really hard to critique other teams when I stay in a semi state of confusion about our own QB. But it's hard to say you are running a balanced offense if you don't aspire to around 3000 yards passing. The whole concept of being balanced means the defense understands they are picking their poison.

one day in our lifetime our coach and our conditioned fanbase hopefully expect more than 'enough to get by' from our passing game.

This one fact will make or break the Season and LM's career at LSU.

Fans/Alums/TAF's/Power Brokers are all out of patience in regards to the QB situation.

If BH doesn't show drastic improvement and able to consistently complete 5, 10 and 15 yarders in the September games, then it's time for Etling to get his shot. What you see out of Harris in September is what you'll see in October and November.

If I were the HC, I'd be throwing the ball like crazy in those early games so Harris and Etling can get their timing down with the WR's. We already know what our running backs can do. Don't need to run them into the ground early on. Let the QB's throw it, because that's what we're going to need against the Big Boy's.

If Miles doesn't want to do this, he's just digging his own grave. ...............

Because Les Freaking Miles recruits "Athletes" that were little more than glorified running backs playing Quarterback in high school instead of recruiting real QB's that have some developed passing skills, ability to read defenses, go through progressions and to quickly process all that information.

And then he tries to ram rod these "Athletic Dual Threat Spread Offense QB's" into his I-Form Offense with Cam Cameron's complicated playbook. Doesn't work. Square Peg Round Hole. Takes all the "Spread Offense DT's" too many years to learn his Offense.

It's just the opposite of what Saban/Kiffin do at Bama. They adapt their Offense to the skill level of their QB's. National Championships don't lie.

Most everybody knows what's happening and why. Will make it all the more maddening and no expression of sorrow forthcoming for Miles if the QB problems continue again this season..............
