Like most RBs under Miles, Fournette seems to have excellent ball security. If he fumbles soon, he was due (not because I jinxed him)! Any chance that Fournette's extra focus on protecting the ball has limited his natural feel and vision at times?
I was going to say that as soon as I saw the title of this thread. If anybody doesn't believe in "talking about it" jinxes let me tell you. They're real. I can still remember the announcer saying "In eight years in the National Football League Ray Guy has never had a punt blocked." So what happened? You know it. Or "Dennis Eckersley has never given up a grand slam." just before he threw a gopher ball to Kirk Gibson.
The gris gris seems to happen all the time with free throws in basketball but I don't believe in that. All RBs fumble here and there so it will occur.
Fournette has never broken a kickoff return for a TD (just in case the gris gris is in effect today).
