I wish your daughter all the best. I was raised with a cousin who was deaf since birth. His mother had German measles during pregnancy. He is doing fine but was always left out of conversations. Your daughter was diagnosed at a young age so she will adapt to her problem and turn out just fine.

Dallas never cared of Mo test scores, they want him to play football. He does that well and Dallas is more than glad that they got him. Best of luck to Mo, great guy and Great Tiger.

Absolutely. It's time that people woke up and realized a learning disability does NOT mean a person is stupid. Plenty of very talented people have such disabilities--and perhaps they develop those talents because traditional school may always be a stuggle for them. My dyslexic child is obsessed with art, so maybe art school, instead of a regular college, could be in her future.

Yep Stacey, more on this .......my cousin finished with a Major in Art at LSU, now she oversees a major office in the State of Louisiana. You never know where Art will lead you. She didn't.

So, we're down to about 74 scholarship players now? That does not bode well for a long pounding season in the SEC. We are going to lose more players to injuries and depth will be critical for a championship run.

Five more LSU Tigers lost for the season

The loss of these five players brings to seven the number of returning players No. 3-ranked LSU (2-0) has lost for the season.

That list also includes All-America cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, who was dismissed from team in August for what reportedly was a failure of the school’s drug policy, and starting left tackle Chris Faulk, who suffered a knee injury in practice before last week’s Washington game.

Three LSU recruits — wide receiver Avery Johnson (younger brother of former LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson), quarterback Jeremy Liggins and junior college transfer Fehoko Fanaika, an offensive lineman — were ruled academically ineligible before the season began.

Incoming freshman wide receiver Travin Dural also suffered a knee injury in August practice, bringing to 11 the number of players LSU is missing compared to what it figured to have going into the season.

LSU has played 70 players this year in games, 12 of them True Freshmen. The move of Josh D. to OT is the best move, hes built more like a OT and has more years under his belt. Looking at the last game, he played the position very well. It's gonna help him into the Pro's, a guy that has played all the positions on the OL, thats a plus with the Pro's. The guy that comes to mind playing all positions at LSU, Rudy.

My concern is about depth beyond the first 44 players in a long brutal season. Starters and key backups are strong right now, but as they go down with injuries, the reserves are going to have to step up. We really don't want to have to rely on true freshmen in a large way come December and January.

I agree Stacie. Hope your daughter develops the tools she needs. My son has dyslexia but his IQ is off the charts. He is also ambidextrous which is really cool to watch, he can write the first 3 letters of his name with his left hand and switch to his right for the other 3 and you can't tell the difference. Its also helped him start kicking my tail in sports as he got older as he has no dominant side. His moto has always been 'most people use half their brain...I use both sides." He is grown now but the tools he learned young has really helped him overcome. I wish you and your daughter well.

    it is what it is.

There is always the bright side that if the worst happens, these young guys will have good exp for the following year.

The good thing is this didn't happen when we had a schedule like last year. We have Idaho, Towson, and Auburn to practice on. I don't think the sky is falling. I have come to the point where if we don't lose key players at the beginning of the season I look at it as a bad omen. Sad but true.
