I just got two invitations and added them to my friends list, but am not sure how to reciprocate. I don't see any way to offer an invitation. Also, is there a particular purpose for having Forum Friends? What is the idea behind it?
Click on your user name, some stuff will pop up. Click on edit friends list. You can offer an invitation by typing their name in, if you type the first couple of letters names will pop up, then you click on the second thing on the right (add a friend) . That will send it to your email to know that they have been invited to be your friend. I am not really sure what the idea behind it is though, I didn't even know about it until someone here told me.
find the person you want to be friends with, click on their avatar, which will open their profile page thing. look right under their list of friends, there is a link that sais: Befriend eL eS shU
All I know is some folks been acting real strange since this friends thing started. Don't laugh. You know who you are
"Friends' is essentially the same as the 'buddy list' vB has always had, it just adds the 'reciprocal' function and changed the template to where your 'buddies'/friends are listed on your profile for everyone to see. EDIT: Quote from the Forum 'FAQ' As a side note to Admin: When clicking on the 'buddy/ignore list' in the Usercp dropdown menu one gets a blank page instead of the 'edit page'.
Deek dey gots two kind of people in this world. You gotcha “Have’s” and you gotcha “Have not’s”. I do feel for ya, fwiw. Now, click your heels three times and say, “There’s no man like Tiga...there’s no man like Tiga.”
