Great news. Thanks for the update.

Makes me glad that I designated St. Judes as the recipient of my payroll deduction for the next year.

Being the father of 2 small children, I can't imagine having to face some of the things the families at St. Jude have to face. St. Judes is my favorite charity and I donate to them regularly. Hearing these success stories makes it all the better. I encourage all of you to help out as well. No amount is too small.

St Judes is a wonderful place. My cousin's son had some rare form of cancer at the age of 4. The doctors gave him 6 months to live. They tried everything and even told the parents that they had reached the point where most parents stopped the fight. Well coming from a family where my grand paws brothers were all preachers, they all went to a local church and prayed to make the right decision. They decided to keep up the fight. They tried some new treatment on him and right now the boy is in remission. His body use to light up like a xmas tree with cancer and right now he is totally cancer free. Nothing has ever broke my heart like seeing this boy with no hair and knowing cancer was eating him alive and watching him play with a firetruck by the xmas tree. The whole time I couldn't help thinking how this would be his last xmas. Well that was 2 years ago and the little Tiger is still here. He is the happiest litte kid in the world. I made damn sure to donate to St. Judes and everyone should. They truely do change lives. Also a huge thanks goes out to the man upstairs and lets get the message to him about our newest cub that needs his help!

    Our prayers are with ya!

    That is AWESOME!

When you here of stories like this, it puts everything in perspective. I know we like to come on here (tiger forums) and vent about the tigers and get depressed when they lose. But, when you think about it, it's just a FRICKIN game. And Im sure J-Dub and his family would love it if the only thing wrong in their life was the tigers losing. I have a 2 yr old daughter and I thank GOD everyday for bringing her into my life. So Im glad to hear lil Pres is doing well, and I look forward to seeing him on the diamond in 17 yrs.

Wow, it's been two years since the last update on Preston.

Preston just had another check-up at St Jude in October. His scans came back clear and he is now NED (no evidence of disease). This makes nearly three years cancer free after he barely survived the first few months of his life fighting stage 4S Neuroblastoma. I believe that God is good and is performing miracles at St Jude Hospital.

In honor of Preston and the other children at St Jude, I am running in the St Jude Half marathon on December 6th as a St Jude Hero. Together, let’s make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer, like Preston. Please consider donating to St Jude and helping me to reach my fundraising goal of $1,500. You can donate online at my personal Web page, www.stjudeheroes.org/users/d2dabbs

100% of your donation goes to St Jude and is tax deductible.

Thanks for your support of St Jude, whether it be monetary or prayers for the children!
