Re: God Bless this Little Boy Not sure I did the site just right. Still the col prays for the little guy daily.
Unfortunately, Preston had some bad news yesterday. They will not be able to go home as Preston has developled an infection related to the surgery. He is being kept in the hospital at St Judes with tube in his nose pumping fluid from his stomach. Christine(mom) was relived to see that he is being treated by a former LSU classmate of hers. Please keep praying that Preston will get well and they can get back home.
A liitle good news in the middle of Katrina: Preston was able to return home Monday. It took them 10 hours to drive from Memphis, but they made it home safely. He will continue chemo treatments in Baton Rouge!!!!
That is GREAT to hear! I know St. Judes is a wonderful place. I have a friend who is living, breathing proof of that having survived Non-Hodgkins Lyphoma. But nothing compares to being home and having your friends and family around you. Please continue to keep us posted!
That is so great that Preston is home! I was wondering about him. I had to look for a thread. It had been a while, because of the flood and stuff. I have a friend who's daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia and they are moving her to St. Jude's. Glad to hear about such a wonderful place. God Bless!
UPDATE: I know it has been a while, but J-Dub and Preston have great news!!! Preston has been cancer free for a few months now and seems to be well on the way to recovery!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Will definitely put him on our prayer list. May god bless him and the family during their tough time.
Sending prayers from Mississippi for Preston and his family. Please continue to keep us posted on how he is doing.
