Former Tiger baseball player needs prayers...

Please keep my cousin, Jason Williams(former LSU baseball player) and his son Preston in your prayers. It has been a very difficult time for him and his family since Preston was diagnosed with cancer at 6 weeks old. He has been undergoing chemo at St. Judes in Memphis. Jason is only able to visit on the weekends because he is tring to support his family. His wife and son, Preston, are expected to be at St. Judes for at least 4 months.

The chemo has been very rough on the little guy, but he is fighting like the tiger that he his. Please pray for them, and if you feel led to donate or participate in a benefit fund raiser, here is the link to the info Preston William Benefit Softball Tournament :geauxtige :tigbas:

There are few things as heartbreaking as a sick child. Your family will be in our prayers. I'm glad to hear he's at such a great medical facility.

When I was in skip bertman baseball camp (years and years ago) Jason williams was my teams "player/coach". He was one cool dude.

I still have a baseball signed by him, boots, beetle, and of course Skip.

Jay Will was just great. I was doing pbp for the RiverBats when he was playing for them. Great guy. When I heard about this yesterday, I sent his Buddy Brian an email and I'm having Brian on the show tom. We will talk about the fundraiser and how to get involved and all of that. I was so sad when I heard this news that I wanted to help out. I always hear a lot of great stories taht come out of St. Jude b/c it is such a phenomenal place. There is nothing more sad or more heartbreaking than sick kids. When WYNK does the Radio-athon for St.Jude, I can't listen b/c it is just too sad. Nothing will bring a guy to tears more than that. :geauxtige
