I’ve not noticed any posts or mention of Brad Hawp (Colorado Rockies outfielder) playing in the MLB All-Star game last night.

In the 7th he was robbed of a HR when Carl Crawford of Tampa Bay made a leaping catch over the left field wall. Hawp struck out in the 9th, but the TV announcers talked briefly about Hawp playing on the 2000 LSU CWS Champions. Nice to hear LSU mentioned on a national broadcast.

Aaron Hill made his first All-Star team this year, also. Did he make it into the came? I never watch it.

I don't usually sit through the whole thing but last night's game was fast paced and very competitive throughout. I watched none of the pre game so that helped. It said something about the desire to win when the NL Mgr intentionally walked the Cleveland guy late in the game. I don't think the batter was too pleased either.

Hawpe needs to check his pockets after that.

And the All Star game doesn't appeal to me much anymore. The HR derby is ridiculously long, and MLB probably shouldn't be drawing anymore attn than necessary to sluggers/slugging.

The HR derby is stupid. I don't watch any of the junk leading up to the game which is probably why I can watch just the game and enjoy it.

I saw a replay of the 1st pitch and, sorry but, Obama throws like a girl.

I've been hearing on the radio that it was a pretty good game to watch, though I still don't feel like I missed anything. It really irritates me that it decides home field.

I didn't realize Aaron Hill was a starter. Good for him! LSU!

I saw it advertised last night that next year's game will be played in the Dominican Republic. I've heard mixed feelings regarding this.

almost positive its gonna be in Anaheim next year.
there is a sign behind home plate there (might be some other park, but I'm 99% sure its the Big A) that says "Home of the 2010 All Star game"
