http://www.klfy.com/Global/story.asp?S=9173662 According to a police report, former Acadiana High and LSU running back Alley Broussard was: arrested Sunday for marijuana possession, schedule 2 penalties - prescription pills and illegal carrying of a weapon. Alley is out on $3,000 bail. Broussard finished his college career at Missouri Southern, rushing for 918 yards and 12 TD's. TV10 talked with Alley, early Monday, and he expects the whole situation to be resolved! he didn't comment about the marijuana but says the pills were prescription, and he will prove that. He says the weapon in question, he owns, but didn't' have the paperwork at the time of the arrest.
dude was in Miles' doghouse for a reason. That's all I'm sayin'. There was a lot of dirt uncovered on him that never went public while he was at LSU.
Ownership isn't the issue for that crime. And papers/registration aren't required to be with a weapon. Firearms aren't 'registered' in Louisiana. If you're carrying concealed you only need a concealed carry permit, which he obviously didn't have.
Legal ownership or not, having a firearm anywhere near illegal narcotics is very bad news. They come down pretty hard on that.
I wonder if he has a pain pill addiction stemming from his knee injury and the subsequent infection that he had in that knee?
Bad decisions reap bad consequences. It kills me to see such players both former and present put themselves in situations where only trouble follows.:dis:
