He was 75. As most know he made a name for himself by cacthing the first TD in the inaugural Super Bowl. What made that even funnier was that he went out and got tanked the night before because he didn't think he would see the light of day on the field. Kind of a crappy way to go after living to be 75. Sad story to hear. I remember watching that first Super Bowl with my grandfather. He was a McGee fan. Until I read the newspaper this morning, I didn't realize he played at Tulane. RIP Max.
