In today's world of College Athletics it is is nice to see something besides a negative story. During Nebraska's spring game, Jack Hoffman, a 7 year old cancer patient, got to live out his dream and play in the game. Jack took a Taylor Martinez handoff and scampered for 69 yards and a touchdown on 4th and 1. Here's a video link to the highlights: http://btn.com/2013/04/06/video-7-year-old-cancer-patient-runs-for-td/ I'm concerned with the defense
I saw that video on another site. People helping and supporting others is always super inspirational. And Ed, You're right. If a 7 year old kid can scamper 69 yards on a fourth and one.....Nebraska needs to add Tulane to their schedule immediately !!!!
Wow. That's a side of CBP I have never seen before. Kudos to the whole Nebraska team and the coaches. Awesome thing to do for that young boy.
Saw it on SportsCenter last night. I was imagining how that kid must have felt when the whole team hoisted him on their shoulders while the crowd was cheering for him after he scored. Awesome story.
I'm worried about the kids top end speed and vision to follow blockers and find the hole. He'll have to improve to get to the next level.
